They’d all cried when Jack’s body had been brought back in a coffin, his face half covered so they couldn’t see the damage done to it.  But for one of them, were those tears of guilt and not just sorrow, knowing that they were the one who had sent Jack to prison when he hadn’t been the one who killed their mother.  And now, with Philip’s death, would there be more tears; tears of shock, tears to cover the truth that none of them cared he was dead?  And maybe tears of fear, for the murderer was still amongst them.
