Laslow had thought he knew almost everything about Xander. But he had not known that with enough silly lines and coy smiles that Xander would actually kiss him.
(That in itself was not a problem. He just hadn't known that Xander wanted to kiss him. On second thought-)
He knew now, and he supposed he should have figured it out, between all the lines and everything else. There just hadn't been an opening.
(Or the safety of Xander now being king and not on his father's leash, that was probably it.)
Xander kissed him again and Laslow stopped thinking entirely.
