Mike chuckled. "You mean more than the usual?"
"Something like that. You know what he gets up to, this close to Halloween. Howling at the top of his lungs like a werewolf, prowling in the dark, looking to jump out and scare us all out of our skins. But he hasn't been doing that, so far."
"Hmm. You're right; for Micky, that is weird. That fellah's gotta be up to somethin'."
"Maybe he's taking the year off," Peter put in. When the others stared, he shrugged sheepishly. "Just a theory."
