Fandom: Who Made Me A Princess
Rating: Gen
Notes: Depression, all that jazz.
Sometimes, Athanasia wonders.
It feels like walking a life that isn't her own, a third-person spectator, watching passively as life goes by, one into another, memories dripping and blending. Sometimes, she can't remember eating meagerly, stomach sunken, eyes drooping, technology stealing vision, and pills sustaining functioning.
She can't remember the internet cafes, nor her old friends' voices; all murmurs. But, then, she remembers her voices, her faces. Beyond the fog, their eyes are on her— watching her.
Other days, she's maneuvering heavy limbs through the heavy thickness. Things rarely feel real.
Athanasia wonders: is this is her life at all?
