Summary: It’s poker night for the detectives of the 27th Precinct.
Notes: Set after Like Like Love.
The guys of the twenty-seventh have gathered together for an evening of poker, seated around the dining table in the apartment Dee and Ryo now share. It’s supposed to be a friendly game, just the six of them plus Jim from the lab, but they’re all serious about winning, with the possible exception of Ryo, who knows he doesn’t stand a chance because his face gives everything away.
Dee is the opposite, his poker face unreadable, and he bluffs shamelessly, taking the pot over and over.
“I’m out,” Drake sighs. “You broke me. Next time we should play for pennies.”
